Stopping Him
Chapter OneMichelle looked out the car window. She could see nothing. It was pouring outside and she forgot her umbrella. Michelle was going to a writing camp. She loved to write. When she wrote her mind would go into the world of writing. She wrote poetry, plays, mysteries, and autobiographies. Michelle was ready to write. She had her journal and her lucky pencil. The car slowly stopped. Michelle and here twin sister Maria put on hats ad got out. They were nervous because there was a sighting of a mountain lion at their camp. Michelle and Maria ran down the stairs and into the building and saw their friends Nicky, Kara, Alex, and Kri. They waved and were telling each other about how excited and nervous they were. Once they were inside the classroom, they were calm. The camp started out with the kids writing in a journal about their hopes and dreams about camp.
After that they did some more writing and then it was break. Michelle had snack, talked to her friends, and then started to write in her pocket journal about her day. When camp was over she was bummed out.
The next thing that happened was too fast to believe. Maria and Michelle were talking, waiting for their ride, and it came out of nowhere. The mountain lion attacked Michelle. The lion was on top of Michelle. She was punching and kicking with all her might. Maria was standing there stunned, not knowing what to do. Instead of helping her sister Maria took the pocket journal and wrote what was happening. Little did Maria know that what she was doing was very bad for the future. The lion bit Michelle's neck and she let out a squeal of pain, then she closed her eyes. Michelle had died. The lion slowly turned to face Maria and inched closer. When the lion was a couple feet away some fire popped up from the ground. A short stubby guy who looked incredibly sunburned with stiff black tuffs of hair turned toward the lion and blew some fire towards it. The fire didn't touch the lion but the lion scampered away. The short stubby guy turned to Maria. Maria tried to run but she couldn't. It was like he was hypnotizing her.
The little guy told Maria he had done her a favor and now it was her turn. He told her to kill all of the lions. First she was to kill the one that killed her sister then she was to kill the rest using another pair of twins. The twins were six and would be in this same place in five years to fulfill his part of his work. The twins job would be to kill the whole planet with Maria telling them what to do.
Suddenly, the wind blew unusually hard like something drastic was coming. The bushes rustled, then a bright, neon, green light swirled around Maria and picked her up. It stopped as fast as it started. Maria was talking in a different language. Something had come over her and she took out her pocket journal and put a spell on it. Maria then dropped.
