Sept. 1, 2004 I just started school this morning and I am already in my notebook. That's because I am in the most boring class in the whole worlds. Mr. Mackle he is our maps teacher. All he does is tell us which countries are where. Well, there is the bell, finally.In bed. Sept. 8, 2004 Wow. I haven't wrote in this for 8 days. Well, today was a total rip off. Maddie (best friend) had piano lessons and I had violin and the "music" teacher wasn't there. I love to play the violin. Time to turn out the lights.
Lunch Sept. 11 I am soooo tired. My little sister Jamie was bothering me. And Maddy had to cut my lunch. I was so tired.
Sept. 20, 2004 Maddie is soooo lucky she gets to go get her ears pierced and I have to get them on my birthday which is only next month. It is October 15 and I cannot wait.
Sept. 30 Tomorrow is October, finally! Yes yes yes!
Oct. 1, 2004 Today I got to see Maddie's new earrings. They are little tiny owls that are blue. They're really cool. 4 more days until my birthday.
Oct. 3, 2004 Today I am sending out invitations that look like this:
You are Ruby invited B-Day Party to a B-Day 2:00 p.m-4:00 p.m. Party 6729 Haitin Drive
Oct. 14, 2004 One more day until my party! I am turning 10. I am also getting my ears pierced today.
Oct. 15, 2004 We are at the ear piercing place and they're pointing them at my ears. Pop! I have my ears pierced--yes! They look like this:
Oct. 16, 2004 Today is my Party and Maddie was the first one to come to my party. Then May and then Lana and last Beth. I can't wait to see what my presents are.
Oct. 16, 2004 We had mini cupcakes and vanilla ice cream. Now it is present time. Here is what they got me: Maddie: 5 cd's and a mini walkman--Cool! May: a stuffed animal cockatoo--Cute! Lana: an art kit with all I need Beth: a best friend necklace and earrings
P.S. Diary, I said I would use everything today.
Oct. 18, 2004 This is the worst day of my life (so far). I wrote a 10-page report and Jamie ripped it up. Well, she didn't rip it; even worse, she shredded it. My teacher will be mad!
Oct. 20, 2004 Report day. Mom wrote a note. It worked! Thank you, Mom! and Jamie is grounded for a week. I told Maddie in my opinion it should be a month.
Oct. 21, 2004 Mom, Jamie opened my diary and drew and scribbled in it!
Oct. 22, 2004 Jamie is so P.O.'d She is grounded for a month. My wish!**
Oct. 23 I told Maddie about being grounded. Maddie said good but she also said It's not as hard with you. you only have one sister. I have 3 younger sisters and one is older. I am right in the middle.
Oct. 24, 2004 I guess Maddie is right. It is harder for her. Here are the younger sisters names and ages: 1. Alicia 4 2. Jennifer 3 3. Mandy 1 Older sister 1. Michelle 14
Oct. 30, 2004 Tomorrow is Halloween. I am going to be a parrot. My costume is nice and warm. Jamie is going to be a princess. Here costume is all pink and sparkling. I do not like pink! Maddie is going to be a parrot too and her costume is exactly the same.
Nov. 1, 2004 I got so much candy. 103 to be exact and Maddie got 106. Lucky!
Nov. 9, 2004 Mom just told me something. I am going to get a little brother.
Nov. 10, 2004 He is very cute. He is one day old. His name is Scott. I guess it won't be hard having a brother after all.
