How to Take Good Care of Your Dog

The image “http://www.3d-screensaver-downloads.com/images/free-dog-screensaver/big3.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

If you want your dog to be healthy then you can follow these great tips. Your dog needs a walk every day so your dog can build a big, strong, healthy body. Dogs need plenty of water every day so they won't die.

Dogs are just like humans. They need water to stay alive. They need food and plenty of care. Don't yell at your dog and never hurt your dog. When you leave your dog at home by itself always leave it plenty of water, food and dog toys.

A Nader's Eye View of Yemen

The image “http://www.unicef.org/infobycountry/images/ibc_map_yemen_en.gif” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Hi, this is Nader, with the latest and greatest report on Yemen! Did you know that 20,024,867 people live in Yemen? Wow! That's a lot!

In Yemen, if I plant something it will grow fast. If Iwas still in Yemen I would plant something. I planted an apple tree and it tasted good. I sold some apples for $10 each. Yemen has lots of trees.

The good things are kids know how to drive cars and they let kids drive cars.  They teach kids how to drive.

We can go to the store and get stuff on sale all the time. Once I got something free.

Yemen is 99% muslims and 1% not musims. Yemen doesn't have that much technology out there. Some places in Yemen are very poor. Most people live in the street and a lot live in houses.

That's what I know about Yemen.

Electricity and You

lightning strike at sea

Standing out as they do above the vast expanse of ocean water, marine vessels can be a prime target for a lightning leader seeking the most attractive path to ground - especially those with masts! Moreover, if the vessel does not have a metal hull and is not earthed to the water, the danger is multiplied considerably.

Often the most at risk are small boats, as these are more frequently constructed of wood or fibreglass, which are poor conductors of electricity, rather than metal - compared to the human body, which is an excellent conductor! Sailing

My class, Room 18, is doing science. The science topic is electricity. We're learning how to work with magnets. The forces between the magnets are amazing.

We are also learning science vocabulary too. All of the kids here are just enlarging their vocabulary every day. Some of the words they're learning are repel, force, steel, iron, and magnets.

A lot of kids at Sequoia are interested in many science projects. The kids are learning how to be responsible enough to handle working with expensive equipment. The science projects we do here at Sequoia are very fun for kids.

The class would appreciate if some adults came in the class to help with science projects.

Alliyah

The image “http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/s/m/smb437/alliyah%20smile.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Hi my name is Janeisha and I am writing to you about Alliyah. She was a singer. "Rock the Boat," was a hit single on her last album. Alliyah made her first movie "Romeo Must Die" with DMX (the rapper) as her brother. She made a vampire movie too: "Queen of the D*****."

Then, such tragedy happened...Alliyah got into a plane accident. The pilot crashed into the many trees. Every one misses our angel, Alliyah, My family never met our angel but she was still part of our family. I love Alliyah even more because she looked like my mother and their personalities were alike.

Long live the Queen!
