"Dinomummy" has arrived! We are the first of the Oakland Public Schools to obtain this book. Hah! Sequoia rules! This is the story of the first dinosaur fossil to be discovered with its skin, musculature and tendons still intact, enabling revolutionary research as to its true size, life habits and cuz of death. It was discovered by a Yale University student who found his first dinosaur fossil near his hometown of Marmarth, South Dakota when he was only 6 years old! Kids rule, two! Yay! Mrs. Harteneck will create a sign-up sheet for this and some other new books (such asyoul Can Draw", "Backyardigans Treasury", "Star Wars", "Disney Tales of Fun and Friendship", "Just Like Dora, "Funky Fashions" and "Disney Princess Tales") which have turned out to be wildly popular beyond her expectations. First come, first served. One week time limit, beginning January 7 for Dinomummy. (It would be unfair to let one preson have this book over the winter holiday.) If you want a preview, you can watch "Dino Autopsy" thiss Sunday on the National Geographic Channel (according to the S.F. Chronicle). SEQUOIA STUDENTS LOVE SCIENCE!
