ay, ay, ay. and a i am distant from this work today.
i am still draped in the garments of the high holy days, awash in a sea
of prayer and melody. so, today i had to wrench myself from my early
morning minyan to bike through the grey mist up through campus flitting
past ghosts of my graduate student days. lock my bike and tear up the
stairs to lines of computers, quiet tapping. another world, a distant
set of concerns...maybe if my body is here, my mind--if not my heart,
will follow.
so. technology. we are just settling into our temporary campus our
computer lab should be up soon. my students don't have access to
computers. as you can imagine, this limits my ability to engage with
these larger ti questions. i have been setting up a schedule with
teachers for our pearson residency in march. i think we're set.
