 | Artist's StatementThere are musical notes, a dragon, a book and a pencil. The musical notes stand for my love of music. A dragon for a book I was reading at the time which I loved. The book stands for how much I love to read and write. Also, the pencil to show my love of drawing. Last but not least, how the colors of my symbols match the colors of the stripes like the fire of the dragon and the color of the orange stripe and my sweatshirt and neck and chin.
I would like to notice how I fade into the background like a dream. How when you slightly close your eyes my nose, mouth and eyes disappear, like an image fading from your mind. I would like you to think of me as a book and paper and pencil lover. I don't know what I would do without these things. If they disappear from the world I would go crazy.
