| My favorite picture book is Green Eggs and Ham. It's my favorite because it is cool. My favorite part is when the guy like the eggs and ham.

| My favorite author is Dr. Seuss. He's my favorite author because some of is books are funny. I like When the Grinch Stole Christmas. It's a good book.

| Reader's Statement
| I like Dr. Seuss because he’s my favorite author. He made Green Eggs and Ham and I wish he could write more stories. I like when the Cat in the Hat was sad because the kid told him to leave and he came back and he fixed all the houses.
What is hard for me are the long words. I try to say them but sometimes I don’t get them. I get nervous when other people read big books.
This year I have been reading Henry and Mudge. I like it because they build treehouses and they do fun stuff. They are a boy and a dog. They are also spies and his dog wears hats and the boy only has sunglasses and a flashlight.
