| Reader's Statement
| The only book I really like is A Year Down Yonder by Richard Peck. I like it because it is about two ladies who take a trip on a train for three or four days. When I was little my mom took me on one of those fast trains and we went through Hayward and San Leandro.
My favorite read aloud book this year was The Phantom Tollbooth. I like it because it has funny parts. It has great expressions and it’s funny.
The best spot for me to read is in the library. The reason why I like reading in the library is because it’s quiet and no one talks.
