Lily and Her Books
There once was a
girl named Lily. Lily loved to read but there was a problem in her
town. There were no libaries and no book stores. So she could not read
different books but she could read.
The only reason she could read
was of her aunt Martha. Every year on her birthday aunt Martha would
send her a new book.
Her aunt Martha was
a libarian. She lived in a far away town. Aunt Martha said in her
letters everybody here has a book. Lily wanted to teach her friends to
read but they weren't interested.
One day when it was
time for school Lily decided to bring her book to school. When she
got to school she saw the schedule. She hated it every day. There was
no reading.
