Chelseya had 45 pieces of candy. She wants to give some to her friends. She has 7 friends. She wants to throw away the rest. How many pieces of candy will each freind get?
I know the answer because my math teacher (Ms.W) taught me that. And I just did my own freestyle. And my word problem is a division and a little bit of multiplication and the answer is 7 times 5.
