Summer 2003: Week 10[Print-friendly version of this page.] | [Email this document.]
Week 10: Mission This week we make our final moves in the last unit of the semester, Transferring Information. In other words, we literally GO PUBLIC with our work. Our mission is simply this: to finish. Note that all of your work for the class must be finished by noon on August 15, 2003. After that point in time I will begin grading your work. Class Meeting: August 12, 2003 This week we will not have a class meeting. Instead, plans are to meet at Appleby's at 1:00 pm (this is optional but hoping everyone can make it there). Assignment 4.2.1: MRP - Final Make your final revisions to your work. I suggest you visit
your work from another computer (not the one you usually work on) to
make sure all your pages and images load correctly. Please note that at noon on August 15, 2003, your work will be considered complete. Sit back and relax and congratulate yourself on a job well done!
Assignment 4.2.2: Online Journal Post your online journal no later than noon on August 16, 2002. Since you're probably just about all reflected out, let's use a little different format this week. Have your online journal contain two parts. Part 1 should be a letter to yourself, a letter of affirmations. You've all written about your insecurities (and some even about fear and terror) throughout the semester so let's focus on what good has come out of this kind of work. Tell yourself, in Stuart Smalley style, all the good things you can think of about yourself, about your work, and about your experience this summer. Part 2 should be a list of "tips to future multigenre explorers" that I can share with the next group of students who come through this class. Compile here your best suggestions for being successful (as you all have been) in this class and with this work. Don't hesitate to let your personalities show through in these writings. That's what has made this class so interesting to me, being able to know you better as people through your writing. Site Maintained by <a
